Job summary

ICU Medical is seeking a Production/Team Technician to ensure smooth operation of automated assembly equipment and to drive continuous improvements. You will troubleshoot, repair, and set up machines, perform changeovers, and help maintain quality and safety standards.

The role covers diagnostics of sensors, controllers, encoders, and servomotors, along with routine preventive maintenance and paperwork. Training of new technicians and adherence to 5S are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical school background desirable.
• Up to 3 years of manufacturing experience with automated equipment.
• Strong electronics, mechanical, and manufacturing process knowledge.
• Ability to learn new technologies and perform continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment; assist with installation and modification of integrated systems.
• Perform diagnostic checks on automated equipment; isolate problems including sensors, controllers, encoders, servomotors, and servo valves.
• Make repairs to production equipment using controls, electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, and welding.
• Complete shift start up paperwork including process parameters, traceability, and start-up checklists.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks as per MP; understand MO, PC, WP, STM and Interim Specifications.
• Perform changeovers and line clearance of components and tooling.
• Fill component hoppers and complete traceability paperwork.
• Pull inspection test samples and stage for QC operators.
• Assist with training of new Technicians; maintain 5S standards in work areas.
• Engage in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
