Job summary

ICU Medical in Southington, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, install and modify integrated systems, and keep key production lines running safely.

You will perform preventive maintenance, handle changeovers, document procedures, and assist with training of new technicians while upholding 5S and environmental health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical school background desirable.
• Up to 3 years of manufacturing experience; automated equipment preferred.
• Proficiency in electronics, mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine and systems troubleshooting and repair; assist with integration of systems.
• Diagnose automated equipment; isolate problems including sensors, controllers, encoders, servomotors, and/or servo valves.
• Make repairs to production equipment using electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and welding skills.
• Complete shift start up paperwork and maintain traceability records.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks per site standards.
• Perform changeovers and line clearances for components and tooling.
• Fill hoppers and maintain required traceability paperwork.
• Update production boards with metrics and note downtime or quality issues.
• Assist training of new Technicians; maintain 5S in work areas.
• Support Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
