Job summary

Fareva in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee high-tech automated equipment and drive continuous improvements through electrical/PLC technology. The role requires leadership across electronics, controls, hydraulics, and software, aligned with Fareva’s values.

Responsibilities include strategy development, project management, and cross-functional coordination to maintain quality, safety, and efficiency in a large manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business, or related field.
• Experience in both electrical and mechanical trades.
• 3–5 years in production/manufacturing or in a direct supervision/management role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the long-term maintenance strategy to enable operational efficiency.
• Lead projects for production, new equipment, and new maintenance systems.
• Manage projects to support new business, improve equipment, labor efficiencies, material flow and documentation.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical equipment, PLCs, operators interfaces, VFDs, servomotors and encoders.
• Manage the Preventative Maintenance System in SAP and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Maintain cGMP, regulatory and safety standards and ensure equipment is compliant.
• Collaborate with QA, HR, Materials, Technical Services, Engineering and Site Management.
