Job summary

Veritiv Corp in California is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic to keep corrugator machinery and conveyors running smoothly. You will troubleshoot high-speed equipment, repair mechanical parts and wiring, and ensure reliable operation of automated lines.

Responsibilities include PLC-based control systems design, programming and debugging with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi, plus integrating HMI/SCADA, Ethernet/IP, Modbus and other networks.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining corrugator machinery or similar high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLC platforms and control systems programming.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of corrugator machinery and conveyors to keep production running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot high-speed equipment, repair mechanical parts and fix electrical systems.
• Design, program and troubleshoot PLC-based automation for manufacturing equipment.
• Integrate HMI, SCADA, VFDs and industrial networks into machine controls.
• Read schematics and interpret electrical drawings for commissioning and startup.
• Provide operator training and ongoing support for automated systems.
