Job summary

The candidate will monitor plant machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and participate in safety initiatives, with on-call duties nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year mechanical or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years in maintenance with experience in continuous process manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; strong communication skills.
• Experience with automated control systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Forklift or other equipment experience beneficial; strong teamwork.
• Knowledge of PLCs and automated control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an automated production line and building support systems.
• Monitor mechanical systems and repair/oversee repairs of assets including PLCs.
• Work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and perform preventative maintenance.
• Be available for rotating on-call duty on nights and weekends.
• Follow safety rules and company policies; keep work stations clean and organized.
• Provide mentorship and collaborate with Facilities Manager.
