Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator in Itasca, IL to safely operate and maintain packaging machinery, including palletizers and wrapping machines, while ensuring quality standards and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical/vocational education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus; ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, quality policies and procedures; communicate hazards to coworkers and supervisors.
• Understand start-up and shutdown procedures for each machine.
• Perform quality checks using measuring devices and enter data into the system; stop production for quality issues.
• Make machine adjustments to meet customer specifications and maintain product quality.
• Maintain production records and communicate schedule changes to operators and palletizers.
• Participate in GMP and quality training to drive continuous improvement.
