Job summary
US Conec, Ltd. in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking an Assembly Automation Lead to operate and optimize assembly equipment on a Tuesday-Friday 10am-8pm shift. The role supports training and onboarding of Automation Operators and drives process improvements to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
The position emphasizes hands-on leadership as a subject-matter expert within the Automation team, coordinating workflow and sustaining efficient production in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years in manufacturing, assembly, automation, or related production environment.
- Ability to train, coach, and guide others.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate semi-automated and fully automated assembly equipment.
- Serve as primary resource for Automation Operators on equipment operation and processes.
- Train, onboard, coach, and provide ongoing guidance to operators.
- Coordinate daily workflow and prioritize activities to meet schedules.
- Assist with troubleshooting and perform minor equipment adjustments and maintenance.
- Monitor product quality and address quality concerns.
- Document production records and communicate downtime or issues.
- Support safety and standardized-work practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
