Production Assembly Team Lead

Location: Fort Worth Alliance, TX

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Production Assembly Team Lead to oversee and coordinate daily activities on the production floor. This position requires a detail-oriented leader who can guide and support the team, ensure production goals are met, uphold quality standards, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of assembly operators to meet daily production targets efficiently and effectively.
  • Assign tasks and shift responsibilities among team members, ensuring balanced workloads.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to build skills, maximize performance, and promote career growth within the team.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular quality checks of the assembled products to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions or workflow bottlenecks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, team performance, and quality metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for improving operations, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Participate in regular meetings with department management and act as a liaison between the team and management, ensuring clear communication of updates, goals, and challenges.
Additional Responsibilities – Senior Team Lead
  • Be capable of all responsibilities of team lead.
  • Participate in high-level meetings when needed, preparing and providing critical information to present a clear picture of operational status.
  • Be an active participant in development of management goals and process improvement plans.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Basic understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to undergo new training and certifications for assigned areas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining calm under pressure.
Working Conditions
  • Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing production setting.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels, machinery, and tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
