Job summary

Agropur is offering an Automation Intern position at our dairy plant. You will assist in monitoring PLC and HMI-controlled equipment, perform calibration and preventive maintenance, and support automation projects under supervision.

This fixed-term internship runs October 2026 through December 2026, providing hands-on experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Electrical Technology, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or related programs, with

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Technology, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or related technical program.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, control panels, PLCs, and industrial automation concepts.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable working with technology and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the reliability and performance of plant automation systems by monitoring and troubleshooting PLC and HMI-controlled equipment.
• Help improve operational efficiency through equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and system performance checks.
• Assist with automation projects by analyzing technical issues, documenting findings, and implementing solutions under the guidance of the Automation team.
• Ensure accurate maintenance records and technical documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Gain hands-on experience in a dairy manufacturing environment while learning industry best practices in automation, safety, and quality.
