Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking an Product Development Intern to support projects from benchtop testing to plant trials in a world-class dairy manufacturing environment.

You will work with the Product Development Manager and technical services/operations teams to gain hands-on experience in research, development, and product innovation while contributing to high-quality dairy products and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support product development projects from benchtop testing through plant trials.
• Assist in planning, executing, and analyzing experiments to support innovation and product improvements.
• Develop, test, and evaluate dairy products to ensure they meet project objectives and performance requirements.
• Document research findings and communicate results with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Plant Leadership.
• Collaborate with Product Development professionals to understand product development processes, challenges, and best practices.
• Gain exposure to dairy industry trends, regulations, and product innovation initiatives.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
