Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. in Chino, CA seeks an Automation Foreman to inspect, test, and repair automation devices and systems. You will diagnose malfunctions and lead multiple crews, coaching junior technicians.

The role includes representing BAS to customers on construction projects, coordinating with Project Managers, and ensuring project schedules and financial success while maintaining installation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.
• 8+ years of direct automation experience with control systems and programming.
• Working knowledge of at least three HVAC control systems (Delta, Distech, JCI or Andover).
• Ability to interface with customers at a supervisory and management level.
• Engineering skills include electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer programming knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Summary

The Automation Foreman will inspect, test, adjust and repair new or existing electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic automation devices, and systems. It will also diagnose the cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance. Automation Foreman runs and manages multiple jobs and crews will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring other automation technicians.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience with control system architecture design, programming, or maintenance desired.
• Good computer skills and understanding of controls networking.
• A valid driver's license.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation: $61.40 Per Hour. The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
