Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. in Phoenix seeks an Automation Foreman to inspect, test, adjust, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic automation devices and systems.

The role also diagnoses malfunctions and performs preventative maintenance while leading multiple jobs and mentoring automation technicians. You will coordinate with project managers on design changes, provide thorough documentation, and help ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.
• 8+ years direct automation experience with control systems and programming.
• AZ Level One fingerprint card (or ability to obtain).
• OSHA-10 training minimum.
• Experience with HVAC control systems (Delta, JCI, Andover).
• Strong communication and customer interfacing skills.
• Engineering skills include electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and programming.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, adjust, and repair automation devices and systems.
• Diagnose causes of electrical or mechanical malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance.
• Run multiple jobs and manage crews; mentor automation technicians.
• Provide thorough verbal and written documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers for design changes and program updates.
• Maintain project schedules and forecast manpower.
