Job summary
Caterpillar is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Schertz, Texas for the 2nd shift. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on advanced production equipment, including conveyors and robotic systems.
The role collaborates with engineers to improve uptime and performance, mentoring junior technicians as needed. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, familiarity with AC/DC, PLCs, and electro-mechanical systems, and a team-focused, safety-conscious
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial/electrical production equipment.
- Experience with PMs, logging completions and completing work orders.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production and high-tech automated equipment.
- Respond to troubleshooting requests and diagnose problems with assembly systems.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment including conveyors and robotic systems.
