Job summary
Westfalia Technologies Inc. is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to perform foundational service, installation, and preventive maintenance on our automation equipment, with hands-on training provided.
The role requires travel to customer sites and collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Service teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. You will document service activities, assist with diagnostics, and follow safety procedures while developing technical skills in
Qualifications
- Foundational mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
- Willingness to learn diagnostics tools, schematics, and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair support on Westfalia equipment.
- Assist with inspections, diagnostics, and service activities under guidance.
- Document daily service reports, orders, and expenses.
- Coordinate information between customers, supervisors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Service teams to meet customer needs.
- Follow safety procedures and develop technical skills.
