Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians, Automation Technicians, and related roles to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging equipment at customer sites across the United States. The position requires electrical, mechanical, PLC, and robotics competencies with a focus on preventive maintenance and exceptional customer support.

The role involves travel to customer sites, training customers on operation, and collaborating with Engineering and Sales teams

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or automation.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test automated packaging systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and automation issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Complete service reports and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Technical Support, and Sales teams.
• Identify opportunities for service agreements, upgrades, and parts.
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards.
