Job summary

Anduril Industries' Rocket Motor Systems team seeks a Manager of Automation Engineering to lead controls for Solid Rocket Motor production in McHenry, MS. You will mentor the Controls Engineering team, manage automation programs, and ensure architecture standards and regulatory compliance across the facility.

You will partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to align scope, schedule, and staffing with project needs, drive safety buyoffs, and provide HQ with critical status updates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of controls and automation experience in production.
• Experience with Siemens PLC programming (Ladder and Structured Text).
• Experience owning scope, budget and schedule for capital/continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop the Controls Engineering team for Solid Rocket Motor production in McHenry, MS.
• Plan, budget, and track capital and continuous improvement projects for automation and controls.
• Partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to represent controls scope in projects.
• Own internal standards for control system architecture and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee safety-related projects including risk assessments and safety buyoffs.
