• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams or manufacturing support functions.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, robotics, and automated control systems.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, automation hardware, and manufacturing software.
• Track record of converting manual operations to automated processes.
• Experience designing or implementing automation solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and root cause analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary team of Process Engineers and Setup Technicians.
• Direct automation initiatives to improve productivity, reliability, quality and safety.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement automation strategies for high- and low-volume environments.
• Provide hands-on expertise in PLC programming, robotics, sensors, actuators and control systems.
• Oversee design, installation, commissioning and optimization of automated equipment.
• Integrate new automation technologies into existing lines and operations.
• Manage projects with scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D teams to improve processes.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support initiatives.
