Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineer license is preferred.
• Minimum five years in industrial automation or controls engineering in project-based environment.
• Experience leading planning, prioritization, resources, coaching, and performance management.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, industrial networking, and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities and performance of the Controls Engineering team; align with project priorities.
• Coach and develop team members through one-on-ones, feedback, training, onboarding, performance reviews.
• Perform regular employee reviews and recommendations for advancement/compensation.
• Own daily resource assignments and priorities; balance skills and workload.
• Monitor capacity, utilization, milestones, and risk; address concerns early.
• Maintain ~25% billable technical/project contribution.
• Ensure projects meet quality, cost, schedule and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with multiple internal groups and suppliers.
