Technimark LLC in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the development, procurement, implementation, and optimization of complex automation systems across our global manufacturing footprint. This strategic role drives operational excellence, automation strategy, and manufacturing innovation, collaborating with sites, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Travel up to 30% may be required to support projects worldwide.

Qualifications

10+ years in automation, industrial engineering or similar technical role.
Expertise in automation systems, injection molding operations, CAD, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to lead complex technical projects independently.
Strong cross-cultural communication within global teams.

Responsibilities

Lead procurement and design oversight of complex automation systems to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
Serve as the primary technical leader for automation projects involving customers, suppliers, and internal operations teams.
Collaborate with manufacturing sites, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Oversee installation, startup, qualification, and validation activities for automation systems.
Develop and manage technical documentation including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, URS documentation, validation specifications, preventive maintenance procedures, and work instructions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, efficiency, and performance optimization.
