Job summary

Amazon's Network Access Technology team seeks a skilled network engineer to design and deploy access infrastructure across thousands of global sites. You will focus on automation and self-healing capabilities for both wireless and wired networks.

You will own multi-milestone projects, mentor engineers, and work with firmware, field operations, and infrastructure teams to validate devices and configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in a large-scale network environment.
• 1+ years’ experience in a network focused hands-on technical role with IP routing protocols/technologies in large data centers/WANs.
• 1+ years Unix/Linux command line experience and scripting in Python, Bash, Shell, Perl, Go or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy network access solutions spanning wireless and wired tech across Amazon's global fulfillment network.
• Own end-to-end projects from requirements gathering through deployment and validation.
• Build automation frameworks for configuration, validation, and zero-touch deployment pipelines.
• Develop automated remediation workflows and anomaly detection for self-healing wireless infrastructure.
• Collaborate across teams to balance performance, cost, and operational simplicity while validating new devices and configurations.
