Job summary

Metric is partnering with a large Denver manufacturer to hire a strong Automation Engineer to join their growing engineering and manufacturing leadership at the Site.

In this role you will design, develop, maintain and optimise automated systems (PLCs, HMIs, robotics), provide hands‑on troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement projects to boost efficiency, quality and safety across the site.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in automation design and a strong CAD background.

Qualifications

• 5 years within automation engineering and design experience for a manufacturer.
• Strong CAD experience.
• Background of systems improvement and the desire to work in a high growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Automation & controls: design, develop, maintain and optimise automated manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshooting & support: diagnose automation faults and minimise downtime.
• Continuous improvement: deliver projects to increase efficiency, reliability, quality and safety.
• Projects & compliance: support new equipment installations and ensure site standards.
