Job summary

VVI Staffing Consultants is seeking an Automations Engineer to design, develop, and optimize electrical control systems powering our manufacturing and automation processes. The role focuses on integrating PLCs, embedded systems, and related hardware to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience designing, developing, and optimizing electrical control systems in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs and other control systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability of automated manufacturing equipment.
• Develop process improvements on automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs; design effective solutions.
• Manage control system drawings and schematics.
• Support capital projects from planning to go-live.

Duties

• Ensure the reliability of our automated manufacturing equipment
• Develop process improvements on our innovative automated equipment
• Troubleshoot controls systems such as PLCs, VFD, HMI's to identify issues and to design a solution to the problem
• Manage control system drawings and schematics
• Support capital projects including planning, implementation steps, installation and go live

• Experience with the aforementioned responsibilities in manufacturing environment
