Job summary

ESCO Group in the Twin Cities is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Automation team. You will contribute to the design and implementation of industrial automation projects, focusing on PLC and HMI control of processes.

This role requires onsite collaboration, travel to client sites, and a willingness to learn IT/OT networking and system security. You will work with multi-disciplined engineers to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and implementation of automation projects to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Design, program, and configure PLCs and HMIs to control and monitor processes.
• Learn IT/OT Networking and System Security.
• Modify existing display objects and templates.
• Understand flow of industrial processes.
• Travel to client sites and perform on-site implementation, testing and commissioning.
