The role requires experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms, AVEVA SCADA, and strong problem-solving skills in a regulated manufacturing context. Collaboration with engineering and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience programming Allen Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix.
• Experience with Siemens S7/TIA Portal systems.
• Experience with AVEVA SCADA platforms.
• Strong understanding of industrial networks and protocols.
• Ability to read drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement PLC-based automation solutions.
• Develop control system architectures, specs, and standards.
• Configure and integrate automation hardware and software.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC applications (Rockwell and Siemens).
• Diagnose issues in existing control systems and networks.
• Develop PLC code to improve performance and reliability.
• Configure SCADA (AVEVA) for monitoring and visualization.
• Integrate PLCs, SCADA, databases, and equipment.
• Perform testing, commissioning, validation, and startup activities.
• Create technical documentation and change records.
• Support operations teams in troubleshooting and improvements.
• Participate in project planning and upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement for project deployment.
• Ensure compliance with standards and cybersecurity.
