Job summary
Siemens Healthineers in Massachusetts is seeking a PLC Programmer to design, develop, implement, and support industrial automation control systems in manufacturing and process environments. You will program and optimize Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, configure HMI/SCADA (AVEVA), diagnose issues, and create detailed documentation to ensure compliant, reliable operation across projects.
On-site collaboration with engineering and operations teams is essential.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical/Automation field or equivalent experience.
- Experience programming Rockwell/Siemens PLCs in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AVEVA SCADA and industrial protocols.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement PLC-based automation to meet production needs.
- Develop control architectures, specifications and programming standards.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs and HMI/SCADA.
- Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, network, and device communications issues.
- Support commissioning, validation, and startup activities.
