Job summary

Lozier is seeking an Automation Engineer to support design, development, programming, integration, and support of automated manufacturing. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least four years of related manufacturing experience.

Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley) and robotics (FANUC) is preferred. Responsibilities include developing optimum manufacturing processes, creating training materials, and mentoring colleagues while ensuring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • Minimum 4 years of applicable engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and strong communication.
  • Experience with machine programming systems or data systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production processes for safe, efficient manufacturing.
  • Create and implement procedures and training for new processes and equipment.
  • Mentor other engineers and technicians in complex technical matters.
  • Coordinate production problem corrections and implement effective solutions.
