Insight Global is seeking an Automation Engineer to optimize equipment and assembly processes, boosting uptime and reducing cycle times. You will support new program launches, implement error-proofing, respond to downtime, and assist with equipment builds, PMs, and quality investigations.

You will also train staff, review new technologies, manage special projects, and support maintenance, engineering, and lean initiatives. Weekend work is occasionally required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science/Technology or 5+ years in a related field.
• Strong background in manufacturing, automation, controls, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in PLC programming & troubleshooting (Allen Bradley preferred) and HMI software programming (FactoryTalk or Ignition preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Manage and improve equipment and assembly processes to increase uptime and reduce cycle time.
• Support new program launches and downtime response.
• Assist with equipment builds, PM development, and quality investigations.
• Train department personnel and review new technologies.
• Manage special projects and lean initiatives; occasional weekend work.
