Amazon.com Services LLC - A57 is seeking an Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability in our Fredericksburg fulfillment center. You will troubleshoot PLC-based control systems, optimize MHE, and drive continuous improvement across SCADA and automation projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support 24/7 operations, and work with conveyors, sortation, scanners, and print/apply systems to ensure fast, accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications

2+ years of PLC programming or automation engineering experience

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems critical for operations
Monitor and optimize material handling control systems and networks
Provide first-level escalation support to site technicians
Perform building system assessments to enhance MHE performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation projects
