Katalyst CRO seeks an Automation Engineer to support the Pratt & Whitney manufacturing site in Asheville, NC. The role involves developing and implementing automation strategies, standardizing PLC code and HMI screens, and improving manufacturing processes.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to enhance data acquisition, establish site standards for controls and robotics, and support Ethernet networking while driving continuous improvement to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in automated manufacturing environments.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA, databases, and scripting.

Responsabilités

• Support automation requirements for new product development.
• Develop and execute manufacturing methods and identify process optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams to improve processes and data acquisition.
• Establish and enforce site standards for controls, robotics, and automation.
• Support Ethernet networking and troubleshoot hardwired components.
• Develop and maintain standard engineering procedures and documentation.
• Support PLC code standardization and HMI screen standardization.
• Resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work independently under direction and meet project timelines.
