Responsabilités

Job Description:

We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to support robotics and automation initiatives at the Pratt & Whitney manufacturing site in Asheville, NC. The candidate will work on FANUC robotics and autonomous mobile robot manufacturing processes, improve manufacturing methods, and troubleshoot robotic systems in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support FANUC robotics and autonomous mobile robot manufacturing processes.
• Develop and execute manufacturing methods and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams to improve processes and data acquisition.
• Coordinate with the automation team to establish and enforce standards for controls, robotics, and automation.
• Monitor robot backup schedules and manage robot backup files.
• Coordinate with system integrators on onsite and offline robot programming.
• Troubleshoot robotic processes and related issues in production environments.
• Work independently under direction and meet project timelines.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of programming experience in automated manufacturing systems; or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience with autonomous mobile robot programming.
• Experience evaluating and implementing robotic standards.
• Experience troubleshooting peripheral components and applications from various manufacturers.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to program/contract access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with FANUC ROBOGUIDE or Siemens Process Simulate.
• FANUC Advanced DCS Certification.
