Job summary

Amazon is offering a ten-week Automation Engineer Intern position located at one of our fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with all requirements anticipated to be completed between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Enrolled in automation, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems (PLC/PC, Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus).
• Monitor MHE metrics and work with maintenance/operations to address performance issues.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
