Job summary

Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Newnan, GA seeks an Engineer III to design, configure, test and document DCS and batch automation applications. You will develop control strategies, sequences, interlocks, HMI displays and batch logic, and participate in FATs, SATs, commissioning, startups and customer training.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or related field and 5+ years in industrial automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years in industrial automation or control systems.
Experience with DCS platforms and process manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of ISA-88 batch automation principles.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, test, and document DCS and batch automation applications.
Develop control strategies, sequences, interlocks, HMI displays, and batch logic.
Participate in FATs, SATs, commissioning, startups, and customer training.
Troubleshoot control system and integration issues.
Lead small projects or major portions of larger automation projects.
Mentor junior engineers and support technical knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with customers, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
