Job summary

The role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting for robotic systems, designing and optimizing control systems, and collaborating on new automation projects. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or have extensive work history in lieu of a degree. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on skills in PLC programming and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years’ experience in programming and integrating robotic systems.
• 2+ years’ experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, sensors, actuators, and automation control principles.

Job Duties

• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for all automation and robotic systems
• Design, program, and optimize robotic paths, PLCs, and associated control systems to improve efficiency, uptime, and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, install, and commission new automation equipment and systems for new program launches.
• Lead or support capital projects related to automation and robotics, including vendor evaluation, specification development, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance standards for automation equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years’ experience in programming and integrating robotic systems

• 8+ years experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years’ experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Proficiency in creating and reading AutoCAD drawings and system schematics.
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, sensors, actuators, and automation control principles.
