Job summary

Daimler Truck North America LLC is seeking a qualified engineer to design, develop, and implement robotic systems for automating repetitive or dangerous human tasks. You will apply engineering and computer science principles to create robotic components and systems and support prototype fabrication, testing, and maintenance.

The role emphasizes hands-on design work, research, and providing technical direction for repairs, with a focus on automation in a factory setting.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree with 4+ years in automation support in a factory setting
  • Ability to solve moderately complex problems independently and provide guidance to team members when needed
  • An attached Resume is required
  • Exceptional candidates may have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs (Rockwell)

Posting Information

We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of $95,000 – $121,000 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Knowledge You Should Bring
