Job summary

Unisys is seeking an Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to turn repetitive manual work into reliable automation across Windows, Linux, storage and backup. You will partner with Steady State teams, analyze ServiceNow data, and design IaC with Terraform, Ansible, and Vault, building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and managing artifacts in JFrog Artifactory.

The role requires strong scripting (Bash/Python/PowerShell), DevSecOps awareness, and excellent cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automation/DevOps experience.
• Experience analyzing ITSM ticket data to identify automation opportunities.
• Hands-on in Windows and Linux administration and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Steady State teams to understand daily operational work.
• Analyze ServiceNow ticket data to identify recurring tasks.
• Prioritize automation opportunities based on volume, risk and impact.
• Codify tasks into Ansible playbooks and IaC with Terraform.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automation delivery.
• Manage secrets/certificates with HashiCorp Vault and artifacts with Artifactory.
