Saint-Gobain Life Sciences is seeking an Automation Engineer to specify, install, document, and troubleshoot automation equipment across our Portage facility. You will drive process improvements and capital projects with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires a mechanical/manufacturing background, CAD proficiency, and hands-on problem solving within a collaborative engineering environment. Join a global leader supporting diverse life sciences applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing is required.
• 2+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is required.

Responsabilités

• Specify, install, document, and troubleshoot automation equipment for new and existing products and processes.
• Lead improvements through World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Green Belt, Six Sigma, and automation projects.
• Design/build capital cost saving programs to improve product quality and labor efficiency.
• Oversee installation/startup of new equipment with IQ/OQ/PQ and MOC on new processes and tools.
• Collaborate with process experts and other Engineering teams to integrate automation on the production floor.
