Job summary

LOTTE BIOLOGICS USA, LLC is seeking an Associate Automation Engineer for the Syracuse, NY facility. You will design and implement engineering solutions for process equipment controls, S88 batch controls, hardware, device integration, and server support for production and building control systems.

This role includes 24/7 support and strict adherence to cGMP and EHS requirements. You will work with process experts to determine automation needs, develop specifications, test designs, and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, biochemistry or related discipline.
• 3+ years direct biologic manufacturing experience desired.
• Knowledge of typical biopharmaceutical upstream and downstream processing equipment.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems and/or Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end design recommendations for automation projects per functional requirements.
• Support GMP/Non-GMP manufacturing systems at Syracuse facility.
• Participate in root cause investigations of IT automation problems.
• Support configuration, testing and implementation of process control solutions.
• Document knowledge base for issue resolution to aid future activities.
• Oversee automated manufacturing processes including Batch Recipes, Formulas and sequencing.
• Participate in Lean OpEx initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
• Follow cGMP and EHS requirements.
