CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer in Colorado to support advanced automation systems across mission-critical facilities. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain PLC/SCADA-based controls, conveyors, sortation, and related equipment.

The role demands hands-on problem solving, strong technical knowledge, and collaboration with operations and maintenance teams. The position is full-time, Exempt (Salaried), and located on-site in Colorado.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in at least two engineering design cycles including specification, component selection and programming.
• 2+ years of experience with PLC programming, robotics system components and controls, and SCADA-based monitoring and control systems.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to independently solve problems with minimal oversight.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Aufgaben

• Promote a safe working environment by complying with codes, regulations, and company directives.
• Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems (PLC/PC controllers, Allen Bradley PLCs, RSLogix 5000).
• Act as first level escalation in troubleshooting on-site and remotely.
• Inspect systems to ensure operation within design specifications.
• Oversee development scope, work requests, scheduling, and inspection by outside contractors.
• Engineer process solutions and reliability improvements from concept to implementation.
• Monitor industrial networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, AS-I).
• Communicate with stakeholders on timelines and production impacts.
