Job summary

Tremco is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead end-to-end project delivery, from requirements to deployment and iteration. You will replace manual workflows with scalable software, build internal web apps, APIs, and data integrations, and ensure robust validation and testing.

You will translate ambiguous business needs into technical specs, design data models, and orchestrate data pipelines using modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python/TypeScript/Node.js/C#).
• Ability to build automation/services handling data and APIs.
• Strong SQL and relational fundamentals; understand migrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal software, data pipelines, and integrations to replace Excel.
• Translate business needs into functional/technical specs.
• Develop robust, scalable systems with validation/testing.
• Operationalize ML and use pre-trained models for tasks like classification and forecasting.
• Ingest data from files, forms, SaaS tools, and databases.
• Implement ETL/ELT pipelines with monitoring.
