Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking an Engineer - Automation Engineering to join the Foundry and support GMP manufacturing. The engineer will provide automation support for process PLCs, instrumentation, and analytical systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, compliant control applications.

This role also involves mentorship and contributing to a new organization during startup, with a focus on cost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in Engineering or related scientific discipline with at least 2 years supporting Analytical/Laboratory systems.
• Exposure to analytical instrument software/data systems (Empower, LabX, UNICORN).
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration and configuration support for Laboratory and Analytical equipment, site-wide.
• Support third-party vendors during analytical system implementation and qualification.
• Execute configuration, access and data-integration tasks under the direction of the Senior Engineer -- Analytical Systems Support.
