Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Engineer - Automation Engineering to join the Automation Engineering Department at the Lilly Medicines Foundry in Indiana. You will provide automation support for analytical and laboratory systems across the site, contributing to a right-first-time startup and ongoing manufacturing operations.

The role requires 2+ years of experience with Empower, LabX, UNICORN, and a B.S. in Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Engineering or related scientific discipline and 2 years supporting analytical/laboratory systems.
• Exposure to Empower, LabX, UNICORN or similar systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration and configuration support for Laboratory and Analytical equipment site-wide.
• Support third-party vendors during analytical system implementation and qualification.
• Coordinate with PLC Systems Support on data integration tasks as needed.
• Ensure reliable, compliant control applications and systems for GMP operations.
• Document configuration changes in line with Lilly quality standards.
