Job summary

QVC Group, a live social shopping company, is seeking a Software Engineer, Automation and AI to build, configure, implement, and support automation solutions across business applications.

The role covers automation technologies including AI, agentic AI, and RPA, working with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and engineers to deliver well-designed, tested solutions. Remote work is available with on-site PA requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related software engineering experience.
• Experience developing, coding, testing, and supporting business applications.
• Working knowledge of automation technologies including AI, agentic AI, or RPA.
• Understanding of SDLC, requirements, design, testing and support.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and CI/CD practices.
• Experience contributing to automated testing and release pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Gather and clarify requirements with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and business partners.
• Develop, configure, code, and test application solutions focusing on automation, AI, agentic AI, and RPA.
• Contribute to technical design specifications for low to medium complexity work.
• Build and support automated testing, deployment, and release activities within SDLC.
• Troubleshoot application and operational issues and document processes for installation and end-user guidance.
• Participate in design and code reviews, explain decisions, and apply feedback to improve quality.
• Share knowledge with teammates and support upskilling of junior team members.

The Software Engineer, Automation and AI supports QVC, and helps build, configure, implement, and support automation solutions across business applications.

You’ll work on a broad set of automation technologies, including AI, agentic AI, and robotic process automation. You’ll partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, technical teammates, and internal clients to turn needs into well-designed, tested, and supportable solutions.

Where You’ll Work

This role is remote; job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, DE. This role may require you to be on site at our Pennsylvania location as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Gather and clarify requirements with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and business partners

What You’ll Bring

• Understanding of application development methods, including requirements, design, testing, and support
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and software development lifecycle practices

• Experience troubleshooting application or operational issues and documenting technical processes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
