Insight Global in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Automation & Controls Engineer to configure PLC programs for real-time control of automated equipment and to collect diagnostic and production data.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and 4+ years in HVAC, refrigeration, chiller systems, or controls. Expertise with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs, SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and HMI/SCADA design is expected.

Formación

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• 4+ years in HVAC/refrigeration/chiller/controls or process industry.
• Experience with PLC programming logic (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens).
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Design and configuration of HMI or SCADA systems.

The Automation & Controls Engineer will be joining our client's team in Jacksonville, Florida. They will configure custom PLC programs for real-time control of automated equipment and collection of diagnostic and production data.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or relevant disciplines from an accredited University
• Over 4 years of experience in the HVAC, refrigeration, chiller systems, or controls/process industry (Need 2/4)
• Experience with the following:
  • PLC Programming Logic (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens).
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Design and Configuration (HMI or SCADA systems).
