Job summary

Confidential Jobs in the Triad area is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, program, troubleshoot, and improve automated manufacturing systems from concept through production launch on a hands-on basis.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in automation engineering, strong PLC and controls experience, and a track record in commissioning and startups within high-volume or precision manufacturing environments. Vision/placement/assembly system experience and Keyence PLCs are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automation engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong PLC programming and controls engineering experience.
• Experience designing and integrating automated equipment.
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motion controls, and industrial networks.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience supporting commissioning and production startups.
• Background in high-volume or precision manufacturing.
• Experience with automated vision, placement, or assembly systems.
• Keyence PLC experience is a plus.
