Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking an Electrician to join our maintenance team. The primary function is to maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, consult, research, and develop process control instrumentation for optimum production efficiency.

This role operates 100% in surface mining facilities and requires travel from the quarry to other locations. A typical day includes coordinating in-house repairs, troubleshooting motor controls, researching automation upgrades, and close collaboration with engineering

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in Electrical or comparable experience.
• Certified/licensed Electrician required.
• Journeyman’s card preferred but not required.
• Experience with PLCs preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year in aggregate or similar industry.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all in-house electrical repairs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls and drives.
• Research potential upgrades in automation to improve safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet deadlines and capital project needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
