Insight Global seeks an Automation Engineer to manage and enhance equipment and assembly processes, focusing on uptime, capability, and cycle-time reduction. The role involves supporting new program launches, implementing error-proofing, responding to downtime, and aiding with equipment builds, PMs, and quality investigations.

The candidate will train personnel, review emerging technologies, lead special projects, and support maintenance, engineering, and lean initiatives.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science/Technology or 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, automation, machine design, controls, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley preferred) and HMI software programming (FactoryTalk preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.

Some travel and occasional weekend work are required.

Required Skills & Experience
