Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Software Engineering Manager, Automation Delivery to lead a team delivering enterprise automation across RPA and workflow platforms, including Power Automate Desktop Unattended and Automation Anywhere.

You will partner with stakeholders to drive delivery, governance and risk management in a highly regulated environment. You will oversee end-to-end automation projects, ensure security and scalability, and promote reusable components while guiding architecture and platform

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Six to eight years of relevant technical experience.
Five or more years of leading a software engineering team, preferably RPA.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of automation engineers and developers.
Establish clear delivery goals, performance expectations, and career development plans.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Support workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and succession planning activities.
Manage end-to-end delivery of automation solutions from intake through production support.
Prioritize work across automation portfolios to maximize business value and delivery capacity.
Ensure solutions meet functional, technical, operational, and compliance requirements.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define implementation roadmaps.
