Job summary

Atmos Energy is seeking a technically skilled professional to support installation, operation, and maintenance of control, measurement, and SCADA systems across engines, compressors, and well facilities.

You will calibrate PLC/DCS equipment, review SCADA data, and coordinate maintenance to improve efficiency and reliability while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology, electronics or computer science or a related field required or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for installation, operation, and maintenance of control, measurement, and SCADA equipment.
• Test, calibrate, and maintain engine and compressor control equipment including PLCs and DCS systems.
• Test, calibrate, and maintain auxiliary equipment, gas conditioning, and related control equipment.
• Review SCADA data and schedule required operation and maintenance activities to increase accuracy and integrity.
• Review facility performance and implement maintenance or modifications to improve efficiency and control capabilities.
• Perform required code compliance activities related to plant facilities.
• Perform code compliance activities and maintenance related to plant facilities.
• Maintain accurate records to demonstrate compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Support responsiveness to all system emergencies.
• Interface with supervision and engineering organizations to define and recommend control, measurement, & SCADA requirements for new installations.
