Job summary
AriensCo is recruiting a motivated and passionate Controls Technician to join our Fayetteville team. This role works on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated equipment and control systems to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. The position follows a 4x10 schedule (Mon.-Thu.
4AM-2:30PM) and involves collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and production teams. Candidates should have an associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience and
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Automation, Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in PLC-controlled and automated systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair issues with automated machinery, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on automated equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
- Assist with PLC programming and modifications (Horner, Keyence, or similar platforms).
- Support installation, startup, and debugging of new automation equipment.
