The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving electrical, controls, and automation systems to ensure equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial automation or related manufacturing environments.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience; Allen-Bradley preferred.
• Experience with instrumentation, electrical schematics, and motion control.
• Safety-focused and capable of teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotic systems, and automated equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, sensors, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Support automation upgrades, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate equipment and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure work complies with safety, quality, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve equipment issues.

Job Details

Location: Germantown, WI. Shifts: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, Alternative Work Schedule (AWS); 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, Alternative Work Schedule (AWS). Pay: $35.50/hour base + applicable shift differential, depending on experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Controls, Automation & Electrical Technician to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving electrical, controls, and automation systems. This position will play an important role in ensuring equipment reliability, production efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotic systems, and automated equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, sensors, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Support automation upgrades, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
